Fortuity Hires Stu Johnson as Senior Vice President of Development

Columbus, OH (April 2, 2019) – Fortuity, a large-scale social employer that operates a 500-seat contact center in Franklinton, today announced that Stu Johnson, formerly Executive Director of Connect Ohio, has joined their Executive Team as Senior Vice President of Development. In his new role Johnson will be responsible for new business development.

“Stu’s extensive experience in customer service and telecom for both the for-profit and non-profit sectors makes him a perfect fit with Fortuity,” said CEO Fred Brothers. “We needed someone who understands how to use good business principals to do good things in the community and has the network to find similarly community-minded clients who want quality service at a competitive price.”

As Executive Director for Connect Ohio Johnson led government relations and public affairs while also serving as VP of parent non-profit Connected Nation where he conceptualized, implemented and managed the nationally acclaimed Digital Works program creating over 900 work-at-home contact center careers in 7 states through a network of 50+ global employers.

Johnson’s experience in the for-profit sector is equally as impressive. He designed, launched and managed nationwide direct and indirect sales channels for LCI International, DigitalBridge Communications, Momentum Business Solutions, Lightyear Network Solutions, National Energy Services Corporation and Nextwave Wireless.

Johnson serves on the board of several non-profit agencies, including Treasurer of The House of Hope for Alcoholics, Inc., The Serenity Street Foundation and The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Delaware-Morrow County.
